The Willis Museum in Basingstoke, England is home to what’s believed to be the world’s oldest wedding cake, still intact after 113 years. The Victorian-style cake was baked in 1898 and even survived a World War II bomb blast(though it left a crack on its side). It was first displayed in a bakery window and later placed in storage, before being donated to the museum. Amazingly, a syringe test revealed that the cake(fruitcake) inside is still moist. Note that the icing was originally white.
